However, the IIIg I believe takes the same regular spool as the M2/3, so I wonder if it'd fit, even if the baseplate guide thingy didn't. Never heard of anyone using it on a IIIg though. Would this apply to the take up spools as well. I suppose I could try it with my IIf and see. I can't think of anyway it could harm the camera. jorge Posted February 22, 2005 Share Posted February 22, 2005 Unfortunately (for this case) both my IIIf and my M2 are loaded with film and I really don't want to go the length to rewind and reload jut to make sure; however, I'm fairly positive that the (standard) spools are different. Aoresteen Posted February 24, 2005 Share Posted February 24, 2005 Never was a quick load spool for IIIf. The IIIg could use spools from the M3 or IIIf so it might beable to use an M3 Quick load kit.
