Reading Bystander --- great book

I'm reading it and it's a fantastic book. Much detail from the

beginning, with lots of surprises about who was doing what, and

when --- and how, and why, and -- for that matter, where. If it is

still for sale at Daedelus Books for $10, absolutely worth it.

Yeh, I took Randall Warnier's course from the Cambridge School of Adult Ed a few years back, and this was the recommended text (I had it already).

 

I also recommmend "The New York School - Photographs 1936-1963" by Jane Livingston.

It is a jolly good book. I made my local library buy it.

Very informative book. Includes a lot of photos and information about less famous street photographers. It is a lot of reading however and I'm only about half through reading it. I could see it being the text book for a street photography class.
