marke_gilbert
Anyone seen a concrete release date for the 21mm biogon?
nasmformyzombie
I have a friend who knows a big muckety-muck at Hasselblad. Hassy contact told him last week that Zeiss Ikon items are delayed. The 28, 35 and 50mm were originally scheduled for release in February (the month is now almost over). Zeiss may be having quality control issues with Cosina, the standard Zeiss is setting for Cosina QC is higher than for CV products. Zeiss will delay until Cosina gets it right. david_kieltyka
Supplies of the Zeiss 50mm are already at Hassy in the U.S. The 25, 28 & 35mm are expected in two or three weeks. It just took 'em awhile to ramp up production. -Dave-
mike_elek
The information from these third-party sources seems to be sketchy and unreliable.
nasmformyzombie
As of last week, there were no Zeiss Ikon items in Hasselblad's possession. This I know. Please understand I cannot be more specific.
bill_marshall1
Sean Reid, who has published some work on Luminous Landscape, has been promised a set of four Zeiss lenses (25/28/35/50) for a sequel to his article on lenses for the Epson RD-1. He is scheduled to receive them from Hasselblad-USA in 2 weeks. It would appear that they are on their way for the rest of us as well.
