eclat
I have inherited a Konishiroku Hexanon 50mm 1:2 lens, and I have noidea what kind of camera it's for or how much it's worth. Can anyoneenlighten me? Thank you kindly.
andrew robertson
It's a standard lens. Worth maybe $20. It's probably worth more if you get a Konica camera and start using it than what you may get if you sell it.
ray g.
I wouldn't rush off to buy a konica SLR. This was an earlier Konica lens that came with the older (pre-1965) F mount Konica SLR's. It is unclear if this lens was ever made in the later AR mount used by the more widely available (1965 and later) Konica SLR's. Of course, you can use an adapter (F to AR), but that is not easy to find.
ray g.
If an item is worth whatever people are willing to pay for it, then this may be the answer to the second part of your question. andrew_hall1
Post a pic of the lens mount. The lens could be in Leica thread mount and worth a lot more than the eBay sample.
franka t.l.
By the name of it, I suspect this is the Leica Thread mount lens, which actually is indeed cost a fair amount. need pics of the lens to tell though ..
charles_stobbs3
From Ray's posting above there is at least one potential customer out there willing to pay a little over $14 for it.
eclat
Thank you all for your helpful info. Here's a pic of the lens to solve the puzzle (hopefully) once and for all. I only have this pic, as I have not yet received the lens in the mail. But maybe this is enough for some of you to answer definitively. Thanks again. eclat
Hmmmm.... having some trouble uploading the pics. Strangely enough, however, the lens I have looks almost *exactly* like the link Ray has on his post. I think it's probably the very same kind of lens, from what I can tell. Does that solve the mystery once and for all?? Can you tell if it's a thread mount for a Leica or is it, as Rays suggests, a cheap old Hexanon??
