roamingstudio
I have read many of the discussions for belt bags for various lenses etc - andchecked out kinesis and lowepro. Unfortunately kinesis wont accept returns frominternational orders (I asked) which makes me wary of ordering without trying. I recently found a good stockist for the Lowepro and tried a couple of thierwaist belts - but found I could not fit my Tokina 12-24 ATX lens inside any ofthe circular cases - and even my canon 28-135 was a tight fit. Their cataloguelisted other waist lens kits - but all had the same diameter as the ones I tried. Does anyone know of waist bag combos which are relatively light (im a carefulhiker and find all the extra padding a little too excessive) and can take widelenses? In the future I hope to add a couple of wide primes - and move towards Land would hate to shoot myself in the foot with a system which could not cope. Thanks for thoughts (and yes I have google searched and after 4 pages and going back 10 years I didnot find a direct answer).
brucecyr
Although the Lowepro site is slow even with a fast connection, the wait is worthwhile in terms of the available information. Almost every piece of gear I've viewed there is extensively documented and diagrammed. On-line sites, for example BHPhoto.com and, I think, Adorama.com, also have excellent documentation on internal and external dimensions of their bags and cases, etc. HTH
