dan_brown4
I'd like to support an Alien Bees B400 with AB's large softbox attached from a 9 foot acoustic ceiling. You know, the kind with 2 foot by 4 foot metal grid and lay-in acoustic panels. I'm not allowed to damage the ceiling. I'd like the softbox to open facing straight down (directly above the subject of the photos. It doesn't need to be real adjustable, a little hieght adjustment would be good, however. Thanks for your thoughts...

tomweis
Sorry, in case that link doesn't work, go to B&H's website and seach for this product code: AVC1000. It's a scissor clamp that attaches to the drop ceiling grid.

dan_brown4
Thanks Tom. That is absolutely fang-dang-tastic! Is there such a thing as a female to male 5/8" stud extension for that clamp, which would allow me to drop the AB & softbox by 6", 12", 18"? Thanks again.
