matt_ebling1
I recently bought a pinhole body cap for my camera. It sounds interesting to me, but I have never done it before. Does anyone have any input on the subject? Has anyone used a pinhole camera before?

tom_jenner1
Yes, use a tripod. Try shots that take advantage of the ultrawide DOF. I'll use a pinhole cap to take test shots of a white wall when looking for dust on my sensor (Nikon D70s). The tiny aperture will make dust show up quite well. My best pinhole camera was a cardboard box that used 8x10 photo paper for a negative. A piece of aluminum foil with a pin prick was used for the lens. A small piece of black electrical tape was used as the shutter. -Tom
