scanning panoramas/ including sprocket holes

Recommended Posts

The LS-4000ED scans an area approximately equal to the image size, perhaps slightly larger. It cannot scan the sprocket holes, nor will it scan much wider than 36mm. In general, it's necessary to set the scanning frame slightly smaller than the available image to obtain a more accurate and consistent exposure measurement.

To do what you want, you need a medium format scanner, like the LS-8000 or LS-9000. With either of those, you would also need the rotating glass holder.
