dynalite head 2040

Hi there, Ive been using a companies flash system, 2x dynalite 2040

heads and 1 1000xl power supply.. One of the heads just out of the

blue went off (flash fired with nothing setting it off) with a POP

and there was a bad stench of burn metal in the air. Ive never had a

light go on me, the bulb is still in tact but the head wont work.. Is

that how bulbs go? with a bang? or could the whole head be hooped?

Any info will be greatly appreciated, thanks Jamie!

send it to Dynalite in NYC, you will pay a good bit for the repair, but it will work flawlessly for years to come... t (Death comes to strobe heads in many ways, you had a fun one. Sometimes they go in their sleep.)
