matt_chamberlain
Alex, I really like the second one, the dark colours and all really make it nice. Is this one a little out of your usual style??
Alex_Es
Hi Matt! Thanks! Yes, very much out the usual. This was really a deserate got to have it no matter what shot. I was in a taxi when this weird truck passed in fron of us. I cropped a little to the left and top. I resisted using Curves and Auto Color in PS to keep that darkish blue cast. I did pump it up with Saturation to bring out the reddish tones. The first shot is full frame. Again I kept the garrish colors. I did burn in the heart to make the red richer. How are you doing, by the way. These are all cool NYC shots, friends. Marc, thanks for your RD-1 contribution. Not only good but also useful as far as seeing what this new camera does. agardner58
Alex-some nice shots. 10:41 AM is (or was) McGurk's Suicide Hall if I'm not mistaken...and it was recently torn down.
