wmwhee
Does anyone know if the Canon FD 100/2.8 SSC lens and the "new" Canon FD 100/2.8 lens share the same lens design? Could one expect the same performance from both versions of the lens? One lens review gives the "new" version a "very good" rating. Finally, could anyone comment on the performance of these lenses--sharpness, contrast, etc.--in relation to other FD lenses? Thanks. Bill W. alan_swartz
You can find basic information about many FD lenses at http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/companies/canon/fdresources/fdlenses/index.htm <p> I'd guess the performance would be almost indistinguishable.
