jennea
Is there some kind of business software out there made specifically for wedding photographers? If it matters I have a mac with OSX. Thanks.
e.m.
The only software you will ever need. This guy developed it in the mid 90's and made a fortune. He sold it for a few thousand and just recently released it for free. I'm just learning it and it is definately cool. Zimberoff's "photography focus on profit" outlines the software and shows you how to use it all. Check it out Ed McCulloch<div></div>

william_au
Wow. That is the quintessential shot of the forgotten "joys" of pushing up babies. I don't think you could have captured it much better :-).
jennea
Thanks for the info Ed, and I love the photo--what a cutie--but I have a slight dilema. I bought this book/software about 6 mo. ago. I tried to install it on my mac, but it won't run on OSX. It needs the 'classic' mode, which of course my computer for some reason wiped out when the people at the Apple Store installed it. They told me that for some reason beyond their comprehension I am unable to have 'classic'. Do you know if Zimberoff plans to make a version available for OSX? If not, any other good software out there?
prinosphotography
the photobyte uses a filemaker pro runtime that is built for pre os X, which is why you need the classic environment. He could probably rebuild it with an updated version of filemaker pro, but I don't know if that's going to happen. Photobyte seems geared more towards commercial & stock shooters, rather than wedding & portrait work.
