eamon
Just a quick question, When submitting a photo for critique, should one see the image in the gallery page, assuming you have paid for the privilage of being a member of photo.net? mottershead
Yes, but you have to catch it. Also, there is a bit of luck to it. The page shows the most recent photo submitted by a subscriber, but this is only determined every 10 minutes or so. This means that your photo might be the "most recent subscriber photo" when you submit it (by definition), but it might not still be the "most recent" when the server again determines the "most recent". We have 10 web servers working independently. In all likelihood, if your photo misses the window on one server, it won't on some of the others, but you might not personally hit the server that has your photo as the "most recent", and might not see your own photo being featured. zafar
May be I am not correct on this one but I think the time is less than 10 minutes for refreshing. Is there a chance that it misses altoghter.
kasigi
What ever happened to the matrix of 9 random recently added photographs that the gallery page used to use? I miss it greatly - that page was what made me support photo.net monetarily in the first place.
