david_henderson
Hi. I need to produce a series of b&w copies of my fibre prints on my Canon i900D(i905D in the UK). I can scan the prints OK and indeed when I print them on plain paper they don't look terrible but not good enough. I'm using the colour ink set and don't want to dedicate this printer to b&w so I'm after a paper that will represent my best option under these constraints. My prints are made on semi-matte warmtone heavyweight fibre. The closer I can get to that in an inkjet paper the better. I know Canon make a matte paper in A4 - my question is whether there's anything alse I should try as well or instead? Thanks
beauh44
Hi David, You might want to try a custom profile for your ink/paper combination. Cathy's profiles are $40 USD each and it can help tremendously obtaining neutral blacks with injkets that mix colors to get there. http://www.cathysprofiles.com Good luck!
