marke_gilbert
Does anybody know if the vc 12mm is compatible, with the M5?

joe_pelizza_salusso_di_vol
Why not? With its proper viewfinder every thing is possible... Joe
huw_finney
The M5 has a swinging photocell in front of the shutter, some lenses might hit it if they prodrude too far. AFAIK (what a great get out!) it swings into place with winding the shutter, so if a lens that does protrude is fitted unwound all will be OK. And AFAIKAW (..as well) the CV 12 is a bit retrofocus (the 15 is) and will fit no problem. Didn't the M5 have a bit on the bayonet like the VF mask tab that kept the photocell out of the way for some lenses?
marke_gilbert
Thanks, the rear element of the 12mm and the photocell arm are my concern. I had a 12mm awhile back and seem to remember it protruding fairly far into the camera body-- But I am just considering an M5, and wanted to make sure that this wouldnt be an issue-- Anybody used this combination? brunom
Marke I use the 12mm CV lens with a CL which has the same set up as the M5 and have no problems with it. Regards Bruno
pete1
I use the C/V 12mm on both a CL and an M5 with no difficulties at all. Works find.
