jon_noble
Hi I have bought a R1800 for the Photographical Society that im the President of and intend on leaving it in our darkroom. One issue i have realised is security. You can't get the key for the darkroom unless you're a member but i'd much prefer the printer to be locked down. Without going all out on a steel cage around the printer, is there a way to lock the R1800 with a lock already on the market? I have found a possible point on the printer but have no idea what it's for. The image makes it much clearer Thanks in advance<div></div>
kstllwrt
I don't know what the area on the printer is, but in the past I have used a cable system that includes a plate that is glued to the printer. The only draw back is that you are permanently gluing a plate to the printer. I have not used the company below, but it looks like it would work for your needs. http://www.tufnut.com/ Kristopher
jon_noble
Cheers Kristopher. Those are a little crude but i'm sure effective. I may create something like that but mounted to the underneath out of sight. So, what the hell is that little slot for? Draining the ink well pads?
