miha_steinb_cher
Are CZJ polarizers worth using nowadays? Should I rather buy somethingnew instead? Best regards, Miha
mike_elek
I would think that as long as the coating is intact, the filter threads aren't damaged and the glass isn't scratched, then it should be usable. I have a couple of older polarizers (four of them: Contaflex SLR, Contarex SLR and two for the Contax), and they all still work well.
jimdesu
Unless it's been damaged, I've found that pretty much anything CZJ, even the east-only designs simply couldn't be sneezed at.
