Select the image click the clone tool icon then adjust my brush size. Set to normal and or darken. Click Alt to select the area to be cloned then cover the area and then left click mouse to clone. Hmmm Doesn't work for soe reason! ANy suggestions would be welcome. Thanks in advance

matt hedgecoe
If you've got more than one layer, make sure you're working on the top one. It's caught me out a few times in the past...
imaginator
" Click Alt to select the area to be cloned" Just to be sure... you have to hold Alt key before you click the mouse (continue to hold it as you click)
mendel_leisk
When you click to paste, does it warn you that you need to sample something first? If not, you're problem is not *acquiring* sample source, it's something at the destination you're doing wrong, per other posters.
