chad_worthman1
OK, I know this is a newbie question. I've used 35mm SLR's and digital camera's in the past. I've recently purchased a Mamiya C330s and am wondering how I adjust exposure by half stops. I'm new to manual cameras. Is it simply a matter of putting the aperture selector between apertures? The numbers on the lens only go in full stops. Say a scene is metered as f8 @ 1/60, to add a half-stop exposure I move the aperture selector approximately half way between 8 and 5.6? Thanks in advance!
pavelp
You got it. Just put the red mark in between two clicks on aperture scale. Some lenses do not have clicks, it's even easier then. Just be aware that the same trick does not work with shutter speeds.
simonpg
Exactly as Pavel said. But, if you're using film don't bother as its latitude will well compensate for 1/2, 1 or in some cases 2 stops.
