gerard
Hi all,

Have anybody tried the new Ezybox from Lastolite with a 550EX flashgun? Given the portability of this softbox I thought it would make a good match to use with the 550EX on the run (outside... don't like studios anyway). What about the adapter? I only see rings to mount strobes with the Ezybox line.
The only minus point is that the ezybox is fairly expensive for the size. Any other options to use with a 550EX on location??
-regards,
Gerard.
brooks short
Just curious...why don't you like studios? I have a nice studio. There's free coffee all day long. And lots of lighting equipment, all formats for film and digital. And complete control of the lighting all day, any time of day.

brooks short
Fair enough. I just spent the past 2 days on location with tons of lighting equipment. Tomorrow and the next day I have to do the same. I'm dying to get back into the studio. #8^)
ernesto_araujo
Hi. The ezybox are a good option if are you gona use a hi sourse of light(monolight)the 550 ex or 580 ex are Hi top flash but versus a monolight the first ones are smaller and your gona overwork them, so if you want to use the 550 ex use a bouncer LumiQuest or some small softbox the ezyBx whith a mono light can be a great option.
