paul_sharratt Posted November 1, 2004 Share Posted November 1, 2004 The other day tried to print a picture package (4)3.5x5 images on the following combo: Software: Nikon Capture 4.1Printer: Epson 2200Paper: Epson Enhanced Matte I first tried with advanced: no color management checked - solarized an orange halloween costume 2nd try; advanced; color management; applied by printer; proper paper profile selected - same solarization 3rd try was the photo printing (can't remember the name but it wasn't color managed or color corrected)print came out ok but about one stop lighter than on calibrated screen On all: photo matte paper selected; turned off high speed; 1440 ppi What went wrong in the printing process? danny_liao Posted November 1, 2004 Share Posted November 1, 2004 I get solarization when I print with PHOTO BLACK ink on MATTE setting/profile on my Imageprint software. That might be your problem.
