suman
I am wondering how these two lenses compare in terms of sharpness, contrast and focussing speed. Right now I dont have either in hand and all I read about the tamron is what described in photographyreview.com. Any hands on experience from PNeters? mick_j
The ef-s 18-55 won't fit on the D60. That should help in making your decision. Cheers Mickj
suman
Mickj, I know what I am talking about and I know how to fit that lens in D60. So now, which one is better?
mick_j
Have a read of Bobs Atkins review of the efs 18-55. Bobs review
ron c sunshine coast, qld,a
Yes the EF-s lens can likely be modified to fit the D60.
Overall it's a very interesting question. As a 300D/EF-s 18-55 owner i would be very interested in any allternatives to the kit lens.Sure it's pretty good but just not good enough in my opinion. On the other hand, all the better canon wide zoom allternatives are completely out of my budget.
