nick_haines
I have one of these as well, It's a great unit with a nice retro eighties look. I appreciate that after four years you may have figured this out, but it may help others... Pull down the bottom half of the unit to reveal the 'hidden' buttons. Then hold down 'ASA/MIN' whilst pressing the up / down arrows. P.s. according the the Sekonic site, this meter was used on the NASA space shuttle in 1984. bill_cantrell
http://www.butkus.org is a great website for photography user manuals of all sorts and age. The guy who operates asks for a minimal contribution of $3, but you can actually view and download for free or for less than $3 if you so choose. I prefer giving a few bucks so the web site continues to operate.

robert_brower2
THe bottom third of the meter can be separated by pulling it downwards. This will reveal another set of 4 keys which allow control of the ASA, Mode,,ALARM, and a key marked T f. You now have 8 keys. You can slide the bottom third back so you only see 4 keys Sekonic calls this section a Capsule.
