ART Panorama 170 glass screen.

Hi

I have an art panorama 170 sitting in frount of me, ive only shot 3 rolls, but am really

concern about the glass screen, i know that its not the origional, its just a flat peice of

ground glass. i cant see any way of keeping it in place in the camera for focusing am i

being really stupid or am i missing a part of the camera?. or does the glass that comes

with the camera attach somehow?. thanks in advance Joe

You hold it on the film rails of the empty filmholder to check or confirm critical focus. It is a very crude method for confirming focus and the main reason I went the V-Pan route instead.

thanks Jack, I had begun to assume to hold the screen there and am just suprised at how

crude it is.-Joe
