phyrpowr
Would just barely touching the sensor in a Canon 10D with an anti static cloth do any good, harm, or just make no difference? How about covering the lens mount opening with such a cloth while blowing the sensor with a bulb blower?
aron
I don't want to contribute to you damaging your sensor, but with all I have read, I just spent the money on the photographic solutions sensor swabs and solution. It is the best $50 I have spent. The majority of the spots are gone(I don't press hard) and no damage to my sensor. It seems that nobody will officially recommend anything, but these swabs are packaged in a sterile room and the solution drys instantly. Just an opinion. martin_cole
i have purchased the same swabs and found that they do a very good job on the sensor, very easy to do . am i right in thinking that in front of the sensor is a filter?(canon 10d)
digitmstr
Here is what I use.

It's very cheap (about a few bucks) from B&H and I have used it repeatedly with great success. Totally safe and very easy to use.
