CoolPix 5700

Since I do not have a macro lens for my D100, I use my CoolPix 5700

for these...It is not a true macro,but it is close enough for

goverment work..<div></div>

one thing I have tried with a 5700 for macro - is to put the camera on a tripod and change to manual focus. set the manual focus to minimum focus, and then move the whole combination, camera and tripod closer or further away from the macro subject. <p> <a href="http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=0097qt">another thread here on shots taken with 5700</a> <p> there is a macro sample using the min focus on tripod method shown in that thread.
