michael gordon httpwww
My two staple b/w films are Ilford Delta 100 and Acros, and I'd only use Acros if they'd sell it in loose sheets. The QL's are costly and wasteful, and I only prefer to carry them when on overnight/multi- night backcountry trips to save weight. I have written Fuji twice asking them to release it in loose sheets, but I keep getting the same lame corporate response. Despite my request for a release date (hint, hint), they offer none. If you use 4x5 Acros and would like to see it available in loose sheets, please tell Fuji: http://tinyurl.com/6qyqf They won't listen to a few random complaints, so we need to bomb their comment center with requests. Thanks.
dirk-san1
I could assist you in obtaining Acros in sheets (or any other film, there are several Japan-only films by Fuji) directly from Japan. Although as you can imagine, I would have to put a little premium on it making it worth my while. For example, 50 sheets for around US$63 plus shipping, or 20 for around $27. michael_beckmann
I wish they'd offer a good 400 ASA color negative film in 4x5 sheets. Primarily for landscape and other outdoor photography, where the extra speed is often a great benefit. On the other hand, I have to thank Fuji for supplying such a great choice of films in roll film 220 format.
