rj__
Let me say in advance that there is every possibility that this is a dumb question. Is it possible to measure color temperature of lights in a studio with a laptop computer connected to a colorimeter or spectraphotometer rather than a color temperature meter? cg1
It's possible to measure colour temperature of ambient light with the GretagMacbeth EyeOne Pro spectrophotometer with the EyeOne Share software. It gives you meausrements in Kelvins. I haven't tried to use it as a subsitute for a color light meter.
rj__
CG, Thanks. I'm just getting into digital and I'm also thinking of buying a color meter. If the Eye-One Photo package, which includes the spectrophotometer, will give me both monitor calibration and accurate temperature readings, it's an attractive package.
