matt_m__toronto_
stepped way outside the box last night. went to a trance and breaks dj's party downtown. shot with my new 24mm 2.8 nikkor with fuji superia 1600 film. no experience with this film or lens. all shots are wide open at 1/4th of a second. i was hoping there'd be strobe lights there as that would be my light, but this place was dark. my head is still ringing. twas fun. hope you enjoy. jack_lo_..._t_o
#s 1,4,5, and 7 are magical. The rest are good/interesting. Are they scanned prints? When I have negatives that are thin, my scanner (Epson 2450) simply cannot find them.

olivier_reichenbach
Splendid, Matt! I like this attitude. Just try it and see. What 24/2.8 Nikkor? AI? AF? What body? Besides, makes you feel Toronto is a wild place ;)

donald_macklin
Olivier,Toronto is a wild non-smoking place that still cannot overcome its essential dullness.Montreal is far more civilised, and pleasantly obtuse.Pur laine Don.

matt_m__toronto_
sorry. camera was an f3hp. shot some b+w with the m2. i pick that up on monday. this raises another question. when out shooting, what narcotics do you prefer to be on? here, we were given ecstacy at the coat check :) (kidding aside, i do not use drugs)

matt_m__toronto_
hey john, these are scanned negs with my epson 3200. they negs aren't that thin, so scanning wasn't that much of a problem. a little more playing around with this film and i think i'd like it. though at $11 cnd per roll, i'm not sure. think i'll stick with my trix.
