dan flanders
If the rating choices were reduced to 1, 2, or 3 indicating bad, indiferent, and good, the snivellers would campaign for elimination of the first two. Then we could all move to Lake Wobegone!
john_smith117
Just take pictures and don't worry about it, it's the joy of photography that i look forward to. Sharing the photos with other photographers is just a byproduct of the business. If someone doesn't care for the subject or picture its their matter of opinion. Remember it's always goping to be subjective. I get some good insights into making my pictures more pleasing to the eye from the critique forums but as far as the ratings I really don't even look at them. But in the end I take pictures for me and I like it. Keep Clicking away. -Kevin
rosi
I had one shot with one of each possible rating from 2/2 all the way up to 6/6. Not one comment. I knew it was a good shot so I had to laugh. I do wish there were more good critique going on. I know I have learned a lot from the comments I have gotten in the past. BT Alon - I really like that portrait.
