chad_hahn
I found a k mount 55mm f2 pentax lens. I am unable to find much about it online. Is it worth much more than a 50mm? Is it a better lens or just different? Any information would be helpful. Thanks, Chad
yeow_teng_kuah
Sorry to break your dreams, but 55 f/2 is just another standard lens. It is not much better then the rest of the standard lens, in fact the quality is not as good as the 50mm f/1.4. http://www.ebay.com.sg/viItem?ItemId=3847359216
jim kerr
I don't think 55f2 k-mount Pentaxs have been made for about 25 years.

jeffpolaski
The 55mm lens was matched to the K-1000, KX, K2, KM bodies. That is, when I use the viewfinder with a 55mm on my KX, and keep both eyes open, what I see is matched between both eyes, with no magnification differential. I happen to prefer both-eyes-open shooting, from my street shooting days. However, it gives 3D vision, which hampers 2 dimensional composition. Personal choice.
