D70 and ML-3 remote shutter

Also, if the ML-L3 remote is new, you do have to remove the

plastic tab that serves as a buffer between the battery and the

contacts.

 

Briefly:

 

1. Press the shooting mode button (on back, to left of viewfinder)

2. Rotate the main command dial until "delayed remote" or

"quick remote" icons appear.

3. Aim the transmitter toward the front of the camera and press

the button on the ML-L3.

Marty, I was frustrated as well, trying to get a remote from

Adorama, B&H , etc. I walked into a camera store in Dallas, and

on a whim asked them if they had one, and voila, they had

several (Cooters Camera, in Highland Park Village). I would try

some of the local camera stores in your area, and suburbs.
