alain_martinez
I really don't know what forum to post this question in. I thought this was the most appropiate one. I just bought two LCD monitors, but my pictures now look too bright. What ever was well lit before it now appears burned. Does any one know a tool, or a method to calibrate all the settings in one's monitor to be the same as the printers where one prints (Lab, Home, whatever) Thanks in advance, Alain
j.luis aranda
Depending on your accuracy needs you may go anywhere from a manual tuning of contrast and brightness to a hardware/software assisted color calibration. Check this for a manual example. Gretag Macbeth and Colorvision are the most frequently mentioned color calibration tool vendors.
Hope this helps,
-jl-
