mihir_shah
I need to buy a light meter, and after narrowing it down solely on thebudget constrains, i am left with choosing between Minolta Autoflash5f and Sekonic L358. Minolta hasa better built while Sekonic has morefeatures like retractable dome, 2 iso settings. both are vailablearound $200-220. If anyone has suggestions please let me know. I amtrying to get into portrait and fashion photography and am learningabt lighting techniques for the same.
chris_newkumet
Mihir: Get the Sekonic... it has the extra, valuable feature of being able to wirelessly trigger Pocket Wizard radio slaves. (you should buy the required module for that at the same time, because Sekonic discounts it heavily if you buy both together). It also shows you the precentage of flash vs. ambient.
