mattlaudergallery
Hi, I am currently out sourcing all my landscape photography prints and I know a few people in my field in Australia are printing their own stuff in house (not metallic). I have all my own work printed on the Kodak Metallic paper and I am wondering if anyone knows of a system that could print on such a paper that could be hired or leased such as Epson printers or similar. Thanks Matt www.mattlauder.com.au
roger krueger
Kodak Metallic works like any other C-Print paper--you can expose it with a traditional enlarger, or a laser/led system like a Frontier, a Lambda or a Lightjet (all of which are waaaaaay out of a home user's financial reach). There is no inkjet or other home- appropriate solution.
oliver_tan1
There is actually a "metallic" paper for printers but it literally means metallic. It is manufactured by Red River Paper. It is nothing like RA-4 paper. I think it's just a cheap imitation that fails to compare with the kodak endura metallic paper.
