Zootman
I just purchased an etrs off the web and had not used one before. I am used to 35mm slrs where the mirror automatically drops right after the shutter fires. On this Bronica it appears that the mirror stays up until the shutter is cocked again. Is that normal? The camera is in extremely nice condition, but I suspect that it has set awhile and am afraid that there is something sticking. Other than that i think I am really going to enjoy the way the camera handles.
ken_burns1
That is normal. You do have to advance the film which cocks the shutter and drops the mirror.
peter_witkop
Some older 35mm slr bodies worked this way too, and this is a common behaviour for manual MF SLR's.
