I shoot a lot of events, and I don't currently have the flash card capacity to shoot events in RAW. Can I download a custom curve and use it while shooting jpegs? nico_. Posted October 21, 2004 Share Posted October 21, 2004 Yes, the camera automatically applies the custom curve as long as you're in M, A, S or P mode. No user interaction needed. For RAW it's slightly different. To my best knowledge, only the Nikon Capture RAW converter takes the custom curve into account. Others like Camera Raw simply ignore it. A lot of people, me included, like the photogenic curves, especially the white wedding curve. Have a look at http://fotogenetic.dearingfilm.com/downloads.html.
