trunfio
Peter, I think I'm about to receive one of your Rolleiflex 3.5E's from Harry. I'll drop you an email.
stephen_kruft
Everyone else has given all the right answers. I have used both TLRs and SLRs since the mid-60s and think TLRs are the best MF to start with. You gain some features and lose some, compared to SLR, but I never had the least problem with that, as long as I kept thinking. Get an inexpensive one like a 124G and shoot a lot with it to begin with because you may decide you don't like TLRs. Then decide what to do. (What did I do myself? I started with a Rollei and then got Mamiya in the 70s because of the interchangeable lenses, then got SLRs much later but still use both types.)
