Film advance doesn't stop, camera body shutter release doesn't work. Any one knows a good repair person? I was told this was a very common problem with the original model. dermot_conlan4 Posted October 13, 2006 Share Posted October 13, 2006 You can contact HP but I'm nearly sure they will say you need to send your camera back to Linhof in Germany for repair. That's what happened to me about two years ago when my 617s (fixed lens) needed a small repair. You have to call them and get the address, send your camera, they do an estimate and then send you their banking tranfer info. You have to deposit the cost of the repair in thier bank and then wait for the repair....three weeks minimum but they do a great job, they even cleaned up my viewfinder and recoated it without me asking.
