wickedmartini
I have an S2 and I absolutely love it. In terms of image quality and color reprodcution I don't feel it can be beat. I think S2 owners would back me up on that. The S3 looks mighty good too..! mdd
richard_rowe2
I use a D100 some here at work and have shot some weddings with it and you will find it will do that kind of job with ease. Richard
sorin
I have the S2 and I do have some issues with it (I don't know if the D100 is better at any of it) - flash sync only at 1/125 (although it does have 100ASA) - no way to postview the image with histogram (only in the mode where you actually have to confirm the shot, which is a real recipe for disaster). - doesn't seem to write to CF cards faster then 16x (so faster CF cards aren't rwally faster) - TTL flash doesn't work over 400ASA and the min working distance at 400 is pretty large). - the battery indicator is pretty much useless
k_michael
I've used my flash with the camera set at 1600 ISO and it worked fine. Matter of fact, I started a thread here bout that some time ago. The S2 does have it's problems though.
david bohn
As long as you capture the photo correctly exposure wise, 16x20 should be no problem. I use a D100 and it works great for me, I'm also looking at the Fuji S3 though.
donald_choi
I own a Fuji S2 and regularly make sharp 19X13 prints (with no sharpening done in photoshop). As was mentioned earlier, you have to make sure you have good exposure and spot-on focus if you want to regularly blow up that big. An investment in good lenses will also do the trick. Also, shooting in RAW will help. But 20x16 enlargements should certainly be possible with the S2 (better than 35mm film enlargements, if shot in RAW).
