todd_phillips1
I just picked up the December copy of "Naval History" at a news stand (it's usually in the section with all the military history/cop magazines). It features a very long article on the war photography (and other photography as well) of David Douglas Duncan. There's not any gear information, but several personal insights into some photo situations and his feelings about photography and photographers (Robert Capa). It's well worth a read....and there are a couple of other articles concerning photography in naval situations as well (Japanese mini-sub at Pearl Harbor).
