shutter jam

Recently my shutter jammed on my 645E, after fiddling with it became

un-jammed, but I dont what I did to unjam it. The battery had only

gone thru 3 rolls of film, but was sitting in the camera for 8 months.

Could I have been advancing the film too quickly with the rapid

winder?

 

What precautions should I be taking to make sure this does not happen

again? (When this happened I was taking pictures from a helicopter

and panicked when it jammed)
