teresa_earnest
Ok, this PS layout stuff is fun, and I am enjoying seeing others versions of my layout. How about a challenge? E-mail me at Memoriesnmore@bellsouth.net and I will e-mail you the images (hi-res), then you can create the layout anyway you like, with the only rule that you have to make it 10x10", and the deadline is midnight tonight. I think it will be so fun to see what we come up with. You can stamp the design with your name, as I won't use these for an album, I just think it will be fun to see what we all do. However, I may steal an idea or two! Let me know if you are interested! In your post please include the amount of time it took you to make the layout, and any cool tips you used. e.m.
What an excellent idea. My wife does scrapbooking and stamping. She meets once a month with a group that exchange ideas and different cards that they make. Basically when she comes home she has a handful of cards that others have made and a whole lot of new ideas. It could work here as well with PS and albums and brochures. We should make a group and once a month email a wedding page to everyone in the group that we designed. Over the course of a few months we could have numerous design ideas.....Just a thought. katie h.
I love the idea! I have never designed a page before but I have admired many digital albums. Maybe this will be motivation to try one for fun. So here's my attempt.<div></div>

mike dixon
If that's the big Baptist church on Belmont at the end of Blair, it's only a couple of blocks from where I lived most of the past seven years . . .
teresa_earnest
Mike it's Vine Street Christian, I believe in the Belle Meade area. Also, I love the layout Katie, I especially love what you did with the steeple. Bravo! You're right, this is fun. Teresa
errol young
Drop shadows are easy. I am in PS 7 but I assume CS is the same. In the layer pallet click on the layer that you want shadowed. Then Layer/Layer Style. Click on Drop Shadow to see the options. good luck. Errol

brandonhamilton
sorry it took me so long, was busy and stuff! This took me about 20 minutes. Basic layer styles and placement according to my aesthetic tastes.<div></div>
katie h.
Nice Brandon. I like the balance of the two opposite squares. It's amazing how much different the three images look when different people get ahold of them.
