hanna_cowpe
What's a reasonable length of time to wait before whining about getting my camera back from the service center? And do cameras under warranty get thrown to the bottome of the pile because we're a captive audience?
neal_wydra1
Dear Hanna, The shop I use (cameras long out of warranty<g>) usually gives me a time frame. Ask the service center for one. You may not get it any faster, but you'll know when you can start to comlain. Neal Wydra
dermot_conlan4
One week is all you should wait to receive an e-mail estimate on repair costs...if you've not had an e-mail from service give them a call and explain the situation the phone person will be able to tell you if the repair has been logged in yet. I had to get after them over the Christmas on a Canon 1d repair two calls (first it could not be found) after waiting seven business days had my repair turned around in three days or so.
