karl_knize
I'm working with OSX, a 2200 and a calibrated monitor. Factory cartridges and enhanced matte paper, both as media and selection. The basic. I haven't custom profiled yet (I have one on the way ) so I've been printing via colorsynch and for the most part, the output is pretty close to the monitor. Close enough to be surprising after printing out a MacBeth colorchecker. When I begin with either dig. capture or a scan from color film, all is well. But when I scan B&W chromogenic C-41 process as a 16 bit RGB file and add color for tint and selective color, the color is far less accurate and the metamerism is much more pronounced. Anyone know why? Is it just the relative desaturation that's the issue?
