Can't stand being inside the car, no matter what the weather, one time, he had little ice nubbins on his nose, it was too cold for him to hang out the window for very long. In aerodynamics there's a concept called "excrescense drag" which is the wind resistance caused by stuff sticking up from an otherwise smooth surface, or cracks between panels, etc. That Subaru (?) is encrusted with excrescenses!
