d._robert_franz
I plan to go to Borneo and or Sumatra this summer for some serious wildlife photography. Primates such as orangutans, gibbons, probiscus monkeys are of primariy interest. Also interested in birds, reptiles and amphibians. Locations I'm considering include Sepilok Reserve, Tanjung Puting National Park and Gunung Leuser National Park in Sumatra. Any comments on these locations or other worthwhile locations would be much appreciated.
D Robert Franz
kenghor
Before you go, please check out if there's any haze caused by forest fire in Indonesia. Last year, East Malaysia declared state emergency! This was cuased by the dry and hot season and mainly by those Indonesian trying to clear their land. Hot spots have recently been identified again and we are expecting another round of haze later this year.
Homepage: http://www.singnet.com.sg/~weekh
