j._mose
I recently purchased a Linhof 70 with the Zeiss trio. Although I am very happy with the camera and the condition of everything, the tan paint has a yellow/orange discoloration around the viewfinder (obviously from skin contact). I know this is a common trait with this camera, as I have noticed it on several Ebay photos over the years. What is the best and safest method for cleaning this off? Or, will it require repainting? I would be willing the have the panels removed and sent to a paint shop for color matching and a professional bake job....but I'd rather keep it original.Anyone out there who has this camera and dealt with this problem before?
