chris hughes
I'm curious. Why don't most people include info on what camera/lens/film combo they used when posting images to the w/nw type threads? I'd be very interested in seeing this info when viewing people's photos in this forum. Also, when people do post that info I notice a large number of non Leica images getting posted. What's the deal with that? Shouldn't most of the images be Leica photos since this is the Leica forum? Just curious.
charles barcellona www.bl
Rules allow for non-Leica images takin in the "rangefinder" style, whatever that is. I think there's some list of rangefinder style qualities someplace, and you need to include at least four elements, like, B&W, out of focus, grossly unlevel horizon, and the feet of someone you're walking behind. As far as equipment - hey we're all Leica geeks here, except for those who are just geeks, but even in uttermost geekdom, ya can't make 'em all post the techie stuff. jim_mcbride
Chris: I've asked the same question you have. My own experience is: anything goes. I'm not even sure that it is necessary to use a camera, much less a Leica!
george_conboy1
Sometimes the answer is simple: I don't remember.
