igsman
I have been reading quite a few posts on processing lately, and whenever enlargements are discussed, there is always a mention of "the lab I use", or "my lab", or "you should be able to find a good lab for enlargements", but it is rare that the name of that lab is actually given. A&I, West Coast Imaging (for slides) and Clark are the only ones that come to mind as being mentioned. So, I am sure, many of you have tried a variety of labs for your enlargement needs. Any recommendations? Any favorites for certain kinds of film (Kodak labs vs. Fuji ones, for example)? How about digital labs (printing from your files that is)? There are some labs advertised at Pop Photo, such as www.reliablephoto.com, www.photoworkshop.com, www.dalelabs.com, etc. Does any of you have any experience with them? I don't care if they are in Alaska or California, I am just looking for a good, consistent lab for my Kodak & Fuji enlargements, along with their scans printed digitally. Thanks for any input.
